E evitando 11...,fxe4;12.Cxe4,Cf5;e o Ch4 ou perde um tempo indo a f3 ou joga Cxf5 que reforca o centro negro depois de gxf5. Nf6 11...f4 12.Qd2 12.Dd2 se 12.gxf4,exf4;13.Dd2,Bd4 e o negro ocupa uma casa forte com seu bispo fxg3 13.fxg3 as brancas tem mais espaco e melhor desenvolvimento,a abertura de linhas favorece quem esta mais desenvolvido,no caso a abertura da coluna f e melhor para as brancas. 12.Qd2 evita h6,f4 e as brancas podem jogar Bh6 sempre que quizerem Nxe4 as negras nao poderiam esperar mais do contrario as brancas jogariam Tae1 e preparariamb4-c5 13.Nxe4 fxe4 14.Rfe1 14.Tfe1! 14.Tae1,prenderia a torre em f1 perigosamente e Bxe4 daria tempo para a reacao negra. 14.Bxe4 Bh3 15.Rfe1 Qd7 e agora Cf5 com oportunidades para ambos. 14...Bf5 para seguir Dd7 descravando o Ce7 15.Bxe4 Qd7 16.f4 16.f4?! as brancas armam a ridicula cilada 16...,exf4;17.Bxe7,Dxe7;18.Bxf5 ganhando peca.16.f4?! abre a coluna f que as negras dominam. 16.Bxe7 16.f3 deve ser considerada.
